Distance Reiki is a remote treatment. It is simply sending reiki over a distance, as opposed to in person. I can be in one location and my client can be anywhere in the world.
As a Reiki practitioner I am able to send energy to my client wherever they are. I can also scan the client’s body and direct energy to exactly where it is needed.
I have found distance reiki to actually be more powerful often than an in person treatment. This could be because the client is more comfortable alone in their own home and feels psychologically safer. But I do find I make a stronger connection transcending time and space.
How? Experiments in Quantum Physics have shown that something impacting a particle in one location can have the same impact on another particle some distance away. But truly we don’t know how it actually works, but it does.
As a Buddhist and Reiki Master I believe everything is interconnected. We, and everything around us, are all atoms of pure energy, part of the ‘One’ or source – and everything affects everything else.
How I work – In Reiki we are taught to use a dedicated Reiki distance symbol to aid the treatment. Its origin is in a Japanese ‘Kanji’ character. Its meaning can be translated as something like “Pure consciousness exists at the deepest level of being, and at this level there is no time or space”. It is also means ‘The Higher Being in me reaches out to the Higher Being in you – No past, No present, No future”
Some practitioners prefer to send reiki to any date and time agreed beforehand. I prefer to do it ‘live’, meaning we agree a time and date when you are lying down comfortably ready to receive the Reiki and I prepare to send the Reiki.
I prefer a WhatsApp voice message beforehand so I can connect to your voice. Just say something about what you are hoping for from the treatment or how you are feeling. Then, at the agreed time you lie somewhere comfortably and quiet, where you won’t be disturbed for at least an hour.
Depending on how sensitive or intuitive you are what you feel will vary. Some clients feel nothing else but a wonderful feeling of relaxation. For others it is more profound and feel the energy working on certain areas of the body or chakras (particularly if you have been attuned to Reiki). Sometimes dreams are very vivid or you may feel that something has shifted. Sleep may be deeper and longer. Everything is normal. It is a very gentle treatment and can continue to work long afterwards on a deep level, whether you feel it or not. My intention is always pure and for the clients greatest good.

I often find clients fall asleep during or by the end of the treatment. I will leave a WhatsApp message for you with any feedback about what I picked up intuitively and what chakras or areas of the body I felt needed working on. Then you can access this message when you awake.
